Cilia's Story

MyVMC Story - Asset - Cilia's Story

This is our story.  We have a boxer named Cilla that loved to run until she pulled her ligament about four years ago.  It just kept getting worse until we brought her in to see Dr. Phillip Allen. He took a look at her leg and some X-rays and told us she had to have a TPLO procedure done.  Surgery went very well.  We had to keep Cilla quiet for eight weeks.  Then we went back for her first check up, and she was doing ok, but not as good as the Dr. wanted.

We couldn't take Cilla out for walks because of the icy and snowy weather. But then it started to get nice, and we started our walks and then started rehab with Kim Colvard.  We do rehab twice a week and last week we took her in for her last x-ray and Cilla is doing GREAT!!!!

We can't thank Dr. Allen and Kim for all they have done for our Cilla. She is a happy dog again and able to run and play again. Cilla is eight years old and is like a puppy.  We’re so happy to see her back to her old self. Thank you so very very much for everything you did for us and Cilla.
