A satellite operation providing surgery and internal medicine in the south metro area

The University of Minnesota Veterinary Referral Center (VRC) in Apple Valley, Minnesota, provides specialty care for pets and companion animals from board-certified specialists in internal medicine and surgery.

Unlike the Veterinary Medical Center on the St. Paul Campus, the VRC is a referral-only satellite, working closely with your primary care veterinarian to optimize your pet's care.

The VRC team will work with their colleagues at the Veterinary Medical Center to provide access to the most comprehensive specialty care in the region, including board-certified anesthesiologists, radiologists, ophthalmologists, radiologists, cardiologists, neurologists, and many other disciplines. In addition, VRC patients will benefit from access to the VMC's world-class diagnostic capabilities, including the region's most advanced MRI and CT units.
