The Veterinary Referral Center is permanently closed

From 2016 to 2020, the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center, in partnership with South Metro Animal Emergency Care (SMAEC), provided specialty veterinary care to the South Metro area at the Veterinary Referral Center in Apple Valley. The satellite practice was permanently closed on April 30, 2020.

The services offered at the VRC continue to be available at the Veterinary Medical Center. All communications regarding your patients’ care, consults, and future referrals can be handled through the VMC's main line at 612-626-VETS (8387).

We thank you for the support you have shown the VRC these last several years and will be happy to serve you and your clients at our St. Paul location.
